Our dogs are registered Border Collies. they are registered with the International Sheepdog Society. This means that they and their parentage are recorded on a database that can trace their pedigree back to it’s inception in 1906. So these dogs we use are no accidents or a lucky draw, instead they are more akin to selecting a thoroughbred to go racing. A lot of thought and consideration goes into our breeding, but like race horse, they can’t all be good ones. so for that reason we need to put them through our particular selection criteria.
